This incredible business began in 2001 in Alberta, Canada and moved to New York state because it offered the most in wool sales. The business began by selling rope wool for log homes to insulate between the logs. Within a year requests began coming in for batts to be used in frame and timberframe homes. The owner began selling to meet that market and also started selling loose wool for a few years to be used for filling in roofs and other areas of easy access. The first batts had to be hand cut and fitted between studs. After a few years the owner found a company that cut them 2" thick and either in 16" or 24" widths which are layered to achieve the desired R-value.
